External review sites after testimonials
Optional follow-up flows that invite happy customers to Google or other review URLs, with strategies, delays, and rating thresholds.
After someone leaves an in-app testimonial, you may want them to amplify that sentiment on a public surface such as Google Business Profile, Yelp, or an industry-specific directory. Reveddy supports an optional external review step configured per campaign: once enabled, the product can schedule a second message that links to the destinations you care about, with a delay you choose so it does not compete with the initial ask.
You maintain a directory of review sites under Settings → Review Sites, including URLs and optional weights. Campaigns can then reference those entries. Strategy options allow you to send all configured links, rotate them randomly, or use weighted random selection when you want Google to receive more traffic than secondary sites. A minimum rating threshold helps ensure only customers who indicated strong satisfaction receive public-review prompts—an important guardrail for brand reputation.
Treat external prompts as a bonus, not a requirement. The primary collection flow should stand alone; the follow-up should feel like a natural next step (“If you have a moment, sharing on Google helps other shoppers find us”). Always comply with platform rules about soliciting reviews and disclosing incentives where applicable.
If click-through is low, revisit the delay, subject line, and whether the testimonial step already satisfied the customer’s willingness to help. Analytics events for external shares help you compare campaigns and sites over time.
