Widget types explained
When to use wall, carousel, single, badge, floating, and popup widgets on your storefront or marketing site.
Reveddy offers multiple widget types so you can match layout to page intent. A wall showcases many testimonials at once—ideal for a dedicated “Love letters” page. A carousel rotates quotes in a compact footprint, common on homepages and landing pages where vertical space is scarce. A single widget highlights one hero quote next to a product or signup form.
Badge and floating patterns add persistent social proof without dominating the layout: badges often tuck into footers or beside CTAs, while floating widgets stay visible as users scroll. Popup widgets trade some intrusiveness for attention; use sparingly with clear close controls and frequency caps implied by your theme implementation.
Each type still respects your brand color, incentive disclosure toggles, and which testimonials are eligible. Mix types across the site—carousel above the fold, wall deeper in the funnel—but avoid redundant popups on every route.
When experimenting, duplicate a widget rather than editing the live embed ID; that way you can A/B layouts by swapping snippets in your theme. Measure impact through Reveddy Analytics and your storefront’s conversion reports together, since widget clicks are only part of the story.
