Create Reveddy widgets, copy the embed snippet, allowlisted domains, and how the script loads testimonials from your approved library.
Widgets turn approved testimonials into on-site social proof. Each widget has a type (such as wall, carousel, or floating), a configuration JSON for layout and behavior, and a curated list of testimonial IDs or tag filters so only the stories you want appear. When you save, Reveddy generates an embed snippet: a single script tag pointing at Reveddy’s hosted embed.js with your widget ID.
The embed script is designed to be lightweight and cache-friendly. It fetches widget configuration and testimonial payloads from Reveddy’s API using the widget ID, then renders into a container on your page. Because the script runs on your domain, you must add your storefront origins to allowed embed domains in Organization settings—this prevents random sites from embedding your testimonials.
Place the snippet where you want the widget to appear, or follow theme-specific instructions for Shopify sections. After publishing, hard-refresh with cache disabled to verify the first paint; Analytics records impressions and clicks once traffic flows.
If the widget is blank, check that testimonials are approved, tags match if you filter by tag, ad blockers are not blocking the script domain, and your domain allowlist includes both www and apex variants if you use both.
